In 1941, Choko was established as the industry's first cooperative, aiming for joint production and sales by 29 soy sauce breweries that had long upheld traditional craftsmanship. After numerous transformations, we now manufacture as "Choko Shoyu Miso Cooperative." In 1947, the sales division was spun off, leading to the establishment of "Chohkoh Shoyu Co., Ltd." to deliver products nationwide.
Since its founding, the Choko Group has cherished the traditional brewing techniques for soy sauce and miso, the cornerstones of Japanese cuisine. We are committed to meticulously selecting raw materials, implementing strict quality control, and introducing state-of-the-art equipment. As a food manufacturer, we strive for "safety, security, high quality," and "deliciousness" in the production of a wide range of condiments, including soy sauce, miso, soup bases, sauces, dressings, vinegars, and sauces. Our dedication is to deliver products that contribute to the smiles on the dining tables of local communities.
